Medical Cover

Liffey College Services also supports learners’ health and well-being. Learners are required to have health insurance. It may be purchased prior to or upon arrival in Ireland.

Private medical insurance is a requirement for international learners to be granted a study visa. Medical coverage is included in the full-time course fees.

The College assists learners by making arrangements with health insurance providers to offer some of the best rates available. The members of our staff assist learners in making lower-risk choices during their time at the College and beyond.

Please Note:
  • Students will get an individual certificate and details via email, as per this policy. If you have not received your certificate with 4 weeks of your course start date then you MUST contact the college immediately.
  • Students are advised to retain their individual certificate which will be required for reimbursement when claiming the unspent fees if such a situation arises.
  • In the event that you need to make a medical expenses claim you should read the claims sections in the policy documentation provided to you via email. All medical claims must be notified, the insurer’s Claims Administrator as soon as possible and within 30 days of the expense being incurred, please.
