Liffey College is committed to supporting the health and well-being of all learners. International learners are required to have appropriate health insurance during their studies in Ireland.
As part of the induction process, learners will receive their insurance policy certificate after attending induction and providing an address in Ireland.
The College assists learners by making arrangements with health insurance providers to help secure competitive rates.
Private medical insurance is a mandatory requirement for international learners applying for a study visa in Ireland.
Liffey College has partnered with the following insurance provider (subject to change).

Please Note:
- Students will get an individual certificate and details via email, as per this policy. If you have not received your certificate with 2 weeks of your course start date then you MUST contact the college immediately.
- Students are advised to retain their individual certificate which will be required for reimbursement when claiming the unspent fees if such a situation arises.
- In the event that you need to make a medical expenses claim you should read the claims sections in the policy documentation provided to you via email. All medical claims must be notified, the insurer’s Claims Administrator as soon as possible and within 30 days of the expense being incurred, please.
Process to Obtain Policy Certificate:
Once a learner is enrolled at Liffey College, the college will apply for the learner’s policy through AcademyPlus via their online portal, providing the learner’s details, including the email address. The learner will then receive an email from AcademyPlus with four attached files:
