Open an Irish Digital Current Account

While you’re studying English in Ireland, you may need to have an Irish bank account. Liffey College is delighted to partner with the Irish bank Money Jar.
All enrolled learners have to do is select Liffey College as their school and enter the code to sign up (the code can be obtained from reception).

Money Jar is an Irish online bank. You can use it to transfer, store and receive money. The first 7 months are free and after that they charge €2.99/month. Opening an account is very simple!

Alternatively, you can open a bank account at Bank of Ireland  or AIB . These are Ireland’s 2 largest banks. However, opening an account at Bank of Ireland or AIB normally takes longer and requires more documentation which some students may not have!
