Fee Policy
The Course Fees must be paid in full.
The Acceptance Letter can only be issued once the full fee has been paid.
The fee must be paid at least 10 weeks (Non-Visa Required Nationalities) prior to the Course Start Date of your programme of study.
- Prior to applying for your visa (Visa Required Nationalities) the Evidence of the amount paid must be included with study visa application. Prior to flying (Non-Visa Required Nationalities) the Evidence of the amount paid must be included in your Letter of Acceptance from the college.
- All admissions to Liffey College are subject to availability on a first-come-first-serve basis.
- There is no pre-booking system in place. Places in your intended course will be allocated upon full payment. Payment in part does not guarantee a place.
- Funds will remain in the College client visa account until the learner’s study visa application is determined. If the visa application is refused, the fee will be refunded in accordance with fee refund policy at Liffey College.
- Liffey College registration fee is €300.
- Considering that choosing the correct programme of study is a very important step, Liffey College assumes and strongly advises that a Learner would have made a thoughtful and researched decision prior to applying for the course.
- If a learner requests to change their course dates after registration, will need to pay college registration fee again of €300.
It is the responsibility of each individual to make themselves aware of State laws and all college rules, regulations, policies and procedures before making an application. Learners already residing in Ireland or who have previously been on study visas are expected to ensure their visa will be renewed. Liffey College expects every learner/applicant to be within the law. If a learner/applicant has a visa refused for violation of a State Law such as criminal activity or failure to abide by immigration rules, or providing fraudulent information, then no refund will be due. All course fees must be paid before the start of the course. Failure to observe the financial regulations of the college may result in your place/s being forfeited. Any learner with an outstanding balance regarding instalments will not be permitted to attend classes.
A delayed payment fee (non-refundable) will be applied to any payments received after the due date, If applicable.
The policy for course fee, refunds and cancellations comes under Irish law, not that of the country from which payment has been made.

- (Price Includes) Tuition Fee, Exam Fees, Trinity College London Certificate, Liffey College’s Registration Fee & Provisional Certificate.
- The Course Fees must be paid in full which includes a Liffey College registration fee of €300. All fees & charges are subject to change.
Fee Refund Policy
Course fees or instalments paid are STRICTLY NOT REFUNDABLE except under the following conditions:
FULL-TIME LEARNERS
1- In the circumstance that an international learner is refused either an entry visa or a study visa in Ireland.
2- If the course for which the learner has paid is cancelled by Liffey College with no other alternatives available.
PART-TIME LEARNERS
1- If the course for which the learner has paid is cancelled by Liffey College with no alternatives available.
- If a course fee is refunded, a college registration fee of €300 will be deducted from the total course fees paid.
- Other non-refundable fees that are charged such as extras medical & fee protection insurance €100, TIE examination fee and/or exam registration fees of €100, accommodation fee to be confirmed, books and handouts to be confirmed. These amounts are subject to change.
- No refund is granted for Learners who withdraw from a programme (prior to/post commencement). If a Learner has already started/completed part of their course at the time of the refund, the refund will be calculated pro rata.
WHERE A COURSE IS CANCELLED BY LIFFEY COLLEGE:
- Learners will be transferred to a similar course (if available at Liffey College) at equivalent level within the same discipline.
- Arrangements will be made with other institutions to provide the same or similar courses at equivalent level within the same discipline as per the terms and conditions of the fee protection policies.
Fees Refund Procedure

2- Applicants must give their reasons for the refund request and provide supporting documentation where relevant (e.g., payment of proof, visa refusal letter, passport, etc.). The refund will be processed upon receipt of the required documentation.
3- Liffey College may require further information. Liffey College will transfer the refunded fees to the learner’s account. Liffey College is obliged to inform the Department of Justice of any refunds made.
4- The fee refund procedure takes FOUR WEEKS (20 Working Days) from the date of provision of all documents.
- Application for course fee refunds must be initiated within six (6) months after receipt of payment. All applications outside this time-frame will not be considered.
