First Day Orientation/Induction

The first day at Liffey College is both exciting and full of activities. After students have applied, been admitted and paid their fees, they must attend the new student orientation session.

First day orientation is at the beginning of a student’s programme, Monday (course start dates) at 10:00 AM (except on Bank Holidays, in which case it will be scheduled on the Tuesday at 10:00 AM).

During the Orientation/Induction session, students meet members of staff, get acquainted with the College and are informed of the College rules and policies, while completing their application forms and filling out any necessary paperwork. English language students are required to take an online placement test to determine their level of proficiency. This is followed by an oral test to confirm each student’s level.
